Short Story Spotlight: Terms and Conditions

It looks like folks have been enjoying my short stories, so I'm going to start drawing attention to the ones I have published on Reedsy.com. All of these stories have the potential to be edited and compiled into an anthology in the future, time allowing, so while many are not in their final form, I'm pretty happy with them.

The first story I ever wrote for Reedsy was called Terms and Conditions. The prompt for the story was:

Start your story with a blast of lightning casting a graveyard in a flash of brief, white light.

Naturally, this became another horror story, but I also tried to make it a little light-hearted and humorous as well.

Alice, along with a number of other teenagers she doesn't know, are whisked away to a graveyard in the middle of the night by demons. The demons are just doing their jobs, collecting the souls of silly youngsters who didn't understand the consequences of their actions. All of the teens are terrified.

All of them, that is, except Alice.

Alice has a secret that the demons are far from prepared to handle.
